• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi all,

am a noob, but need help.

I recently installed plesk 6, and installed sitebuilder 3.1, everything worked, but when i go to add hosting to a domain i get an error - "Cannot add hosting, SiteBuilder user does not exist" of course i have a user in sitebuilder, one who's username is the same domain as the domain i am trying to add hosting too and the other is the admin login.

Im not sure how to connect the accounts... even just a quick reply as a pointer would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ryan

I found the solution

In the client configuration (plesk) it has a checkbox "Create a SiteBuilder user" check it and you are away..

I did have to delete my client to enable this (i started from scratch with the domain) and I got it working.
