On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
Is it possible to create a shared folder on Plesk over SMB protocol that would be accessible to Windows Desktop users over "Add a network location" option?
I have managed to create one over FTP, but not sure if it is possible to do this over SMB/Samba.
Why do you want SMB? I find it very resource intensive and you don't have any preinstalled panel for it. SSHFS might be a better fit and you can access and mount it in Windows. From the Plesk side you need only SFTP access with /bin/bash shell or /bin/bash (chrooted).
