• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello everyone, I am experiencing a problem on my computer when trying to install Plesk. I am getting this error message on my PC "This installation is forbidden by system policy". Could someone please help me to fix it?

As there can be many different reasons why Windows does not allow you to install software, I suggest running a Google search
Code:
https://www.google.com/search?q=windows+"This+installation+is+forbidden+by+system+policy"
and working through all the different scenarios to find one that matches yours.

Also, Plesk does not run on Windows 10. You'll need Windows server for Plesk installation.
You are right, but after searching online, I came across this useful guide. They suggested some useful methods that helped me to resolved the issue. The tasks which I have done, first I disabled UAC and modified local Security Policy Settings. After doing the tasks properly, the problem got solved. I have no longer any issues while installing the software.
