  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Unable to backup content of mailbox

Hi there

Before 8.3 everything was OK and my mailbox content was saved. Since 8.4 if I set the content to be backed up for use on THIS server only it is OK, I get folders of my mailboxes inside your psa (zip) file. If I set it to be able to restore to ANY mail server I get email where none of the folders are being able to be backed up. Error is:

Unable to backup content of mailbox

Wierd is this - In the folder MailContent there seems to be messages and the file archive is exactly the same as if I would back up to "this server" only.

Is there a bug that the report is "lying" and in fact everything is saved?

What is the difference between saving to be able to restore from this server only? What does "this server" mean? Phisical machine, Windows serial or something else?

Jerry

Hello! Please look at log files for erros at <LOG_PATH>\MailContentSavingLogs.

Thanks.

Sorry, but where are the right log files? In admin/logs/W3SVC27425?

The backup utility shows messages where log files have been at the end.

Their usually saved at <PLESK_INSTALL_DIR>\PrivateTemp\PSABackupLogs\<DATA+POSTFIX>\

Hi there

yes thanx, I found them. Everything seems ok and backed up according to the tech.log file. But in the email it says the contents can not be saved... I guess it is false alarm.

I have this "problem" on all 3 servers that I've upgraded to 8.4
