  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Upgrade 8.0.0 to latest version on CentOS 4.3 error

All,

When attempting to upgrade version 8.0.0 (psa v8.0.0_build80060425.18 os_CentOS 4.2) to 8.0.1 (build80060713.16) the autoinstaller fails. It appears it wants to first update to build80060613.20, which doesn't work. Has anyone seen this behaviour and if so; found a solution?

ERROR: Package perl-HTML-Tree-1:1:3.16-centos4.2.build80060613.20.noarch listed in inf3 file, but not found in build headers (hdr.gz) file, possible versions mismatch.

I am experiencing this same problem. CentOS 4.3 (was originally a ContOS4.2 system, but the 'yum update' upgraded the system to 4.3)

I have tried to use the web-based upgrade utility with the standard CentOS 4.3 information in /etc/redhat-release, and the RHEL4 information in the /etc/redhat-release file.

I have un-gzipped the hdr.gz file, and, contrary to the stated error message, the file perl-HTML-Tree DOES have an entry that exactly matches the entry in the inf3 file.

Here's what I did to get past this problem:

I uninstalled all of the tomcat rpms.

I then had to run the upgrade in two parts -- first the base Plesk package. -- then the other stuff. Basically, after uninstalling tomcat, I used the updater using the web interface, and left only the default packages checked (there were 2 checkboxes filled in automatically). After that sucessfully completed, I upgraded all of the other packages that the updater interface indicated should be upgraded.

I then reinstalled the tomcat packages using the updater.

Success!

Ok, i'll give that a try.

How did you remove the Tomcat rpm?
