• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

"Your Dr.Web license key file /opt/drweb/drweb32.key expired"

I cannot update this license key.
I have a valid Dr. Web license.

Update via Plesk additional keys gives error "drweb-unix is not installed"
I cannot find a related error - anywhere!
Dr. Web auto update has failed consistently for 3 weeks now.
I have paid for a license but Plesk will not allow me to update the license key.
Simply "no valid key" since it expired 3 weeks ago.
I have tried download key, re-install key, update key - nothing works.

I will tell you anything you want to know; can anyone help?

I have a valid license key. See attachment if you would like to vaildate the details.
(Notification about license expiration)

Plesk simply will not update the key.
Plesk Additional Key Management lists:
PLSK012372320009 drweb-unix

"Parallels Plesk Panel key update deferral notification - Unable to update . An error occured while processing your key. You can try to update it later." Where would this "error" be found so that I can see what the error is?

Try to find related errors in

/var/drweb/log/drwebd.log
/var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log

This issue has been going on for over a month.
I have simply been attempting to muddle through it myself.
So I appreciate any assistance.

/var/drweb/log/drwebd.log only tells me what I already know:
Fri Oct 1 07:00:36 2010 Your license key file has expired!
Fri Oct 1 07:00:36 2010 License key expires: 2010-09-07
Fri Oct 1 07:00:36 2010 Key file: /opt/drweb/drweb32.key - License key activates: 2010-07-31
Fri Oct 1 07:00:36 2010 Total virus records: 1656873

Yet Plesk Additional Licenses states:
Key number PLSK.01237232.0009
Key name drweb-unix
Next license key update Oct 2, 2010
Expiration date Oct 7, 2010

Just arrived, new = Warning: You are currently operating within the grace period of your product license. To update your product license, select the Retrieve Keys option on the License Management page.

I "retrieved key" via (main) Plesk Panel License Key Page
Key Update Status
License key has been updated to the most recent version. Current license key number is PLSK.00899198.0010.
Additional license key for the Parallels Premium Anti-Virus (Lease) application with number PLSK.01237232.0010 has been provisioned.

This "retrieve" also changed the additional key information above.
Key number PLSK.01237232.0010
Key name drweb-unix
Next license key update Nov 2, 2010
Expiration date Nov 7, 2010

But when I do "retrive additional key" for Additional keys...
"Product "drweb-unix" not installed"

I will examine the /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log now and see if I can notice anything but does the above information make sense to you?

yes.

[root@loft2234 ~]# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/packagemng drweb
