I'm running Plesk 11.5.30 update #30
I created a new user role called WebStats and and granted only access to View statistics then created a new user and assigned them to the newly created user role.
I'm able to log into the panel with the new user and they are able to see statistics, but if they click on the web statistics it opens a new tab and they are prompted for a username and password again, I tried entering their panel username and password but it does not work. There is a related post at http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?296359-Stats-Only-Access&highlight=stats. I went on the note saying to access it directly via http://domain.com/plesk-stat/ and created an ftp account for the user, but it still does not work. The only FTP account that works is the main ftp account for the domain, I can't even login using the main admin panel user that has full control over the server and panel.
I read other posts where issues similar to this were fixed in 11.5, but I'm still having problems.
On a side note I have a couple question in relation to this. When I access stats from the panel it loads all domains without a www eg: domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat/ for me this causes a problem as currently our internal domain uses the same domain name as out outside website (I'm going to be changing that this year, inherited this from previous tech). How can I change this behaviour in Plesk Panel. Also if I access the stats directory outside of panel eg: http://www.domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat it redirects me to https://domain.tld/plesk-stat/webstat to which I then have to edit this link again and put in the www.
Any help on these problems would be greatly appriciated.
