  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi there,

Our plesk is running on CentOS 7.

One of our hosting customers can not receive emails from one specific client. The emails and mailserver ips from this client are not in the /var/log/maillog and his address is not blocked by the spam system.

The client do not get an error message returned.

I tried to point my MX records of that domain to another hosting company, and there emails from the client gets received.

Has anyone an idea? Help is appreciated!

Remark: All other emails from within the virtual email table and from thrid party email addresses can get received by our customer.

just to be sure - have you also checked that it isnt blocked by the firewall?

We receive mails from some of the clients, but we do not from others. Also to them we cannot sent. No error log, nothing, mails disappear.

The sender should verify in his log whether the mail is actually sent and where it is sent to. This will most likely direct you to the cause.
