• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FTP - homedir inaccessible

JTRipper

Regular Pleskian
Hello Guys,

fresh installation of Plesk 8.2 on fresh install of W2k3 server.

Once I created a domain I cannot log-in via FTP with this error:
--------------------------------------
530 User admin320 cannot log in, home directory inaccessible.
--------------------------------------

The user admin320 is the main FTP access of the domain.
The same error shows up when I create another FTP acount via Plesk.
I've checked in MMC of IIS that FTP
Server exist and points to the right directory.
I checked also that the FTP users do have a permissions on the filesystem or respective directories.

Any ideas ??

RESOLVED.

The hostname of that server was longer than 15 chars.
Now is 8 characters and work like a charm.
