• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Having Issues with DNS and Roundcube

Hello

I've searched the forum for an answer but nothing is working so far.

Basically, my domain is hosted with one company and the server is with another

domain.com - works fine

webmail.domain.com - doesn't load - I can't even get to the Roundcube Login page


I'm assuming a DNS error - I've got all the standard DNS settings in PLESK and transferred them to my registrar

A record for webmail.domain.com - value is the IP address for the server
CNAME record
MX record

Nothing seems to be working, I'm wondering if it's just a propagation issue... but yeah, any help would be great

Just to add.... I've done a DNS lookup for webmail.domain.com

The A record is not found - even though it's the same record on Plesk DNS and on my domain registrar
