@Fede Marsell,

We don't consider this survey advertising or promo; it's part of the product onboarding workflow (which is currently only enabled on a small number of servers).

There is currently no mechanism to disable the survey, but feel free to submit a feature request at https://features.plesk.com; I will also share your feedback with the team.

We have a documentation page describing how to disable promos, but as I said, the option does not affect the survey.

Just to double-check, you mentioned using "Plesk Obsidian 18.0.68 Update 2." Is this a valid statement?

i logged in to one server we have a windows server and was like what is this tries to exit etc but could not for the life of me get out so i had to randomly press stuff to get thrue..

what happens if a client logs in and this popup shows up for them?
this dont feel like a good way to get feedback.
even tho it is "feedback" it should not be mandotory it should be optional if admins want to submit feedback then they do it but i for onces of my customers dont want to do it.

if this gets poped up for a client then we will get hammerd with calls like "WTH is this ****" "why do we have to submit this stuff" "why do you want to collect this stuff about me" and all we can say "its plesk not us"

Totally agree that this is intrusive and unwelcome. I pay a lot of money for the product and expect to be able to use it without being forced to answer a survey. This is NOT "product onboarding workflow" as I have been using it for many years and we absolutely have the right to not have to answer a survey. If you want us to consider using other products or services then this is the right way to go about it.

I have just logged in to inspect high CPU usage, do you really think I want to be spending my time filling in a survey right now?

You log in to Plesk to fix an urgent issue and have to tell your customer "sorry, i have to fill out this mandatory marketing survey".

How lost are you people?

i have tried to create a feature request but after i submit it, it dont show up. how will you get feedback if the userbase wants a feature or not?

we need a way to vote on a user submitted feature and not the "aproved" list that you guys have on https://features.plesk.com/

this feels more and more like you guys are locking users in.

I've done the same, I couldn't see that anyone else had submitted one.

I've given them "feedback" via the "other" options on the survey

I just disable it by a custom javascript function running on the browser console.
Didn't have time to do this, i cannot bill my clients for submitting a survey who i did not ask for

@AYamshanov

In this thread, you already have several honest opinions from many PLESK users. The sentiment is the same (it's intrusive and without consent). No one has requested this survey.

These practices, which are becoming increasingly common with PLESK, should stop.

For what it's worth, a client reported a critical issue with a site earlier today, so we quickly logged into plesk, only to find this lovely, unavoidable survey. I think it would be wise to make it so users can, at the very least, submit it at a later time.

Hello Plesk Team,

We have today received a complaint from one of our clients regarding a survey popup appearing in their Plesk control panel. The Plesk survey is being displayed directly to end users, which constitutes a serious breach of expected operational boundaries and undermines customer trust.

Displaying such surveys to end customers is unacceptable and must not occur. Any feedback collection or survey initiated by Plesk should be strictly limited to administrators or resellers who have a direct relationship with Plesk.

There are several key issues with the current behavior:

  • Our customers perceive the popup as originating from us, not Plesk.
  • The survey includes questions irrelevant to the end-user context (e.g., company size, internal operations).
  • It negatively impacts our brand credibility and creates unnecessary confusion and frustration for our clients.

Frankly, this implementation feels poorly thought through and reflects a lack of consideration for how such features impact partners and their customers. We strongly recommend revisiting the design and rollout process for these types of user-facing interactions.

We urge you to immediately restrict all such surveys to administrative accounts only (e.g., admin/root users) and ensure they are never shown in the Customer View.

We appreciate Plesk’s commitment to product improvement and user engagement, but such initiatives must be implemented in a way that respects partner-customer boundaries and does not interfere with the end-user experience.

you're way out of line! you think it's ok to force a user lose time for your benefit? on my own server and no way to even postpone it? this is a terrible idea that needs to be reverted immediately. I'd never give correct feedback to something like this even if I had the time.

Plesk Team,

This is not a feature request — this is a critical issue that directly affects customer trust and our ability to operate professionally.

Here’s what’s happening:
If an end user logs in and gets the survey, then logs out, and an admin logs in and completes the same mandatory survey, the end user still gets the survey again when they log back in to manage their website.

This is not just annoying — it’s completely unacceptable behavior for a production control panel. It exposes our clients to what they perceive as data collection from us, not from Plesk. We’ve already had a client question the nature of the survey and even threaten to terminate their contract because they believe we’re the ones collecting this information.

Let’s be very clear:
This approach feels invasive, poorly designed, and disconnected from real-world operations. It comes across as data gathering rather than user feedback.

If this continues, it will cost you partners and customers. We will not risk our reputation over forced, misdirected surveys.

If Plesk wants feedback, you will get it — professionally, directly, and willingly. But forcing surveys on end users is not acceptable under any circumstance.

Disable these surveys immediately, or provide a way to permanently turn them off for all users.
