PleskFatalException: Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect()

Hello,

I sometimes got the following error trying to connect to the Panel :

PleskFatalException: Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect(): Failed to create unix socket (auth.php:142)

What does it mean ?
What should I do to resolve this error ?

If it's sometimes then most like means that your MySQL connection goes away and commonly because of connection limits exceeded!

Sure:

vim /etc/my.cnf

and change to

max_connections=500

Change the 500 to your preference ...

Don't forget to restart MySQL for the changes to take effect!
