• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Reducing sending spam through php or localhost

We are having problems with spammers on our server using a client bug or virus through accessing the FTP client and upload to send files through the php mail function or in local mode. As we are constantly being blacklisted banning.

We thought to reduce this problem sendmail redirecting all traffic to another virtual server for the main server ip is not banned blacklisted.

I've been watching how I do it and thus apparently installed plesk qmail over sendmail, sendmail redirects traffic to qmail.

How could this problem?
I've tried installing the Sendmail with "yum install sendmail" in fedora but does not seem to work.
nano / etc / mail / sendmail.cf
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSipservervps

Thanks for your help.

Not sure that Plesk Qmail will work correctly and installing Sendmail with yum on Plesk server.
