Hi,

I started receiving the following error recently but wasn't before; so I'm not sure what is causing this issue.

I tried to log off/on to Microsoft OneDrive within "Backup Manager" in Plesk and that did not work. The domain it's referencing is disabled so I'm not sure why it's causing this error all of sudden now.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue?

Thank you.

We are currently investigating the reported error message. As soon as we have more details I will provide an update.

Any update on this? I tried deleting all the backed up files on my OneDrive and creating a new back up folder. Then disconnected and reconnected to my OneDrive again from Plesk and every time I try to do a back up no files are backed up on my OneDrive and I get the same error from above. Ty.

Hey, Bernie. Our engineers are still investigating the case. I will provide an update as soon as there are more details on what's the exact reason for the issue. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding on the matter.

so this is a known issue as others are experiencing this same issue with Plesk "remote backups" failing?

There is only one additional reported case. Our engineers still haven't confirmed this is a Plesk bug. It seems like the error originates directly from Microsoft's end. I will keep you posted once we have more details. In the meantime, if anyone could get in touch with Microsoft it will be great to hear their statement on the matter.

Just chiming in as it's happening to my server too. Both on auto scheduled backups and a manual trigger.

Scheduled backups with the (free) extension are simply no longer created. My settings are to backup to cloud only. Last succesful scheduled backup on my end was november 9th.

Hi there,

I have the same issue.

Error:
Unable to create the remote backup: Transport error: Extension transport: ext://one-drive-backup/server/: Microsoft OneDrive returns the error: The object specified does not belong to a list.

I'm now trying to use Google Drive instead of OneDrive but when I try to connect to Google Drive I receive this message saying "Destination URL was not found in the query."

I’m receiving emails from Microsoft One Drive stating, “Many files were recently deleted from your OneDrive.” It appears that the backups are processing, but the files are being deleted and moved to the recycle bin as they’re being processed. To investigate the issue, I’ll delete all existing backups that occurred before the 9th when the issue started. I’ll do this to see if the problem lies in the removal of old files when replacing them with new ones.

Here’s an image of my recycle bin.

I deleted my entire backup folder from OneDrive and re-linked the account with Plesk. The backup still fails, but now the directory path has changed, with a new folder called ‘Graph’ appearing.

@robskinn, thank you for the additional details. We observed that behavior with another user as well. Our engineers are still investigating and attempting to reproduce the issue with a test Microsoft account. The trouble is that there are lots of different services under the OneDrive brand like Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, etc. along with country-based dependencies. If anyone can recall the exact steps they took to create and tune their accounts it will be a great help.

P.s. those details could also be sent to me in a private message if more convenient

I was able to get Google Drive backup working properly, so I just ended up switching to that method. However, I would still like to use OneDrive since I have 2TB of space with my Office365 license; so Plesk Team please try to resolve this issue with OneDrive.

Ty.
